NSW Artist Timothy James Bowen Progresses To Playoffs On 'The Voice'

The final Battles took place on Monday night.

Indie roots artist Timothy James Bowen has advanced to the Playoffs stage of The Voice

On Monday night's episode, the NSW songwriter (and brother of Aussie actor and singer Clare Bowen) was victorious in the Battles against Luke Biscan with their performance of Roxette's It Must Have Been Love

Since fighting and overcoming end-stage cancer in 2016, Bowen has established himself as a formidable solo artist, being named as an APRA Development Award finalist in 2017 and then being nominated in the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition in 2018 with Anchor and again last year with Sing.

Bowen joins some other familiar local artists in The Voice playoffs, including Matt Gresham, Soma Sutton, Matt Evans, Janie Gordon and Chris Sebastian.
