Tim Minchin Joins Massive Names At Tenacious D's Music & Comedy Fest

The third annual music and comedy event, Festival Supreme, created by famous rock duo Tenacious D makes its return to LA this October with a slew of massive names announced on the bill including Aussie comic, Tim Minchin.

The 39-year-old comedian will take to the stage at the Shrine Expo Hall & Grounds on Oct 10 alongside other stand up and music acts such as popular US actress Amy Poehler and fellow Parks And Recreation alumni, Aubrey Plaza, as well as British rock group The Darkness.

Tenacious D, made up of actor and singer Jack Black and Kyle Gass will also perform at the festival, as will Andrew WK, Jenny Slate, Die Antwoord and more.

"As you can see, this thing is going to be a blistering night of creativity... It is by far the most spectacular little festival west of the Mississippi," Tenacious D said in a statement.

Minchin was originally scheduled to perform at the festival in 2013, but was forced to pull out of the event due to overseas visa issues.

Other names to grace the Festival Supreme stage in past years include Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman and Zach Galifianakis.
