Tim Minchin & Briggs Take Aim At ScoMo In New Isolation Collab Track

Check out the new homemade clip now (filmed in self-isolation)!

Local legends Tim Minchin and Briggs have teamed up (in self isolation) for a new track taking aim at Prime Minister ScoMo and the Government's leadership in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak and the recent Australian bushfire crisis.

The song release is also accompanied by a homemade music video directed and edited by Christian Van Vuuren (Bondi Hipsters, Soul Mates).

"I’ve been wanting to do something with Briggs for years but couldn’t work out what idea to go to him with," Minchin said.

"Then a few days ago, he sent a track over and asked if I’d wanna write a chorus for it. I think my exact words were 'fuck yeah'. So much fun to make, and such a buzz to work with the Senator."

Briggs added, "Cabin fever manifests in strange ways and while I’ve been stuck at home working on new music and practising good social distancing, the idea came to me to hit up my friend Tim Minchin to work on a fun idea.

"Black and red together hasn’t looked this good since the ’93 grand final."

And if the track wasn't good enough, have a look at this artwork...
