The edit, which turned into an unlikely festival anthem has finally landed.
Tiësto has finally released his remix of the White Lotus theme song from season two.
The original track was titled Renaissance and was created by Cristobal Tapia de Veer. Even before the track was remixed it was a cult icon of TV intros. One commenter on YouTube said that, "This theme slaps so hard I never skipped it."
It is clearly house inspired, utilising textures from the show's exquisite, luxury settings and then turning it into an undisputed banger. Many fans have already been calling for a 6 minute version of the track to DJ.
Now Tiësto has hopped in, adding an EDM twist to the already danceable track. He says, "As a huge fan of The White Lotus I couldn’t be more excited to be releasing the official remix.
“I was instantly hooked on the theme song so I had to put my spin on it for my live sets… every time I play it, the crowd goes crazy! I’m thrilled HBO wanted to partner and make it official.”
In an interview with CNN he stated that, "Fans absolutely love it," and that every time, "it plays in my set you can feel the energy shift on the dance floor and everyone just goes wild. The feeling is electric. I knew the first time I played it we were onto something special!”
