Australian metal lords Thy Art Is Murder are preparing to tour across the country for the first time since Knotfest Australia back in March.

Notably, this November will see their first headline tour of Australia with new vocalist Tyler Miller (Aversions Crown). Special guests Brand Of Sacrifice (Canada), Great American Ghost (USA), and Melbourne’s own Lune will join them for five nights of extreme metal.

The tour begins at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Friday, 8 November. From there, the bands head to Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Fest (Saturday, 9 November), Perth’s Magnet House (Sunday, 10 November), Brisbane’s Princess Theatre (Thursday, 14 November), and wraps up at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, 15 November.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, 8 August, at 9 am AEST via the Thy Art Is Murder website.

Tyler Miller joined Thy Art Is Murder in late September 2023, replacing CJ McMahon—a move the band described as necessary to “preserve the band's integrity and direction.”

Last year, McMahon became embroiled in a controversy after sharing some alarming social media posts, and he was accused of being transphobic.

After Miller played a show with the band in the Netherlands last October, he took the opportunity to poke fun at himself and addressed the audience like so: “I'm sure all of you are wondering who the fuck I am.

“My name is Tyler Miller. Some of you may know who I am, some of you may not. If not, that's totally fine.”

Thy Art Is Murder are touring in support of their sixth album, Godlike, which was produced by Will Putney (Body Count, Northlane) and re-recorded with Miller on vocals.
