But there was no stopping Eminem...

More Thundamentals More Thundamentals

Aussie hip hop group Thundamentals have scored the week's highest local debut on the ARIA Albums chart with their new LP,  I Love Songs.

The trio's fifth record has cracked the top ten to land at #9, just ahead of fellow Aussie act Dead Letter Circus who have placed at #10 with their fourth self-titled album.

Thundamentals' Tuka and Morgs joined The Music Podcast earlier this month to talk about the album; check it out below.

Meanwhile, Eminem has topped the chart for the fourth-straight week with Kamikaze and has held out new entries - Slash's Living The Dream and BROCKHAMPTON's Iridescence - at #4 and #6 respectively.

Other album debuts this week include Josh Groban's Bridges (#14), The Paper Kites' On The Corner Where You Live (#48),  The Story So Far's Proper Dose (#55) and Machine Gun Kelly's Binge (#62).

Over on the Singles chart, George Ezra has topped the list for a second week with Shotgun, beating out Benny Blanco's Eastside at #2 and Dean Lewis' Be Alright at #3.

While Lewis' five-week reign came to an end this week, Be Alright has continued to make an impression on global audiences.

As well as charting at #20 in the US, the Sydney songwriter's track has climbed into the top 20 of the UK Singles chart to land at #18.

New entries on the Singles chart this week include Lil Peep & XXXTentacion's Falling Down (#7) and Eminem's Machine Gun Kelly diss track, Killshot (#11).
