Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Equipment Stolen From The Xx Sydney Afterparty

Label appeals for support.

More The xx The xx

Thousands of dollars worth of DJ equipment was allegedly stolen at The xx's afterparty in Sydney on Saturday night.

Siberia Records, who hosted the secret gig, took to Facebook to allege that over $6,000 worth of gear was stolen, including CDJ's, a mixer, headphones and lights.

The label has appealed for support, asking that those who went along to the afterparty, which included performances from The xx's Jamie xx and Romy Madley Croft, to help make up for the stolen equipment by paying for a "nominal ticket".

"Not only will it help us this time, but it allows us to keep doing these parties. Please help," the Facebook post reads.
