Kisschasy’s Darren Cordeux Finds His Way Home On ‘The Terrors Of Comfort’

This Week's Releases

Northlane — Node (UNFD)

The long-anticipated return of Northlane with their brand new singer, Marcus Bridge, has left the band proving their "expansion in sound and songwriting is turning Northlane into an experimental juggernaut". Node contains "waves of prog-metal, post-hardcore and touches of djent shifting the focus from their straight metalcore roots", scoring themselves our Album Of The Week with four-and-a-half stars and "high on the list of musical highlights of 2015".

Holy Holy — When The Storms Would Come (Sony)

The duo have created a "pure-sounding" record, with "each track sounding as through it's drifting through the breeze across a field stretching towards the horizon". Outside Of The Heart shows "plenty of heart", while You Cannot Call For Love Like A Dog has "ethereal harmonies, commanding drum beat and a powerful nature of the guitar work". Our reviewer thought Holy Holy are sounding more confident in their style and approach, scoring them four stars
