Thundamentals — Everyone We Know (High Depth/Universal)

Everyone We Know has brought the band to the "point of maturity many knew was coming". They're "confident in their delivery and themes" and find a comfortable "sweet spot between self-reflection and nostalgia". It's the first on the band's own label and it's clear "Thundamentals are out to reward those listeners willing to commit to a full-length album". We gave it four stars and Album Of The Week.

Rag'n'Bone Man — Human (Columbia/Sony)

British singer/songwriter Rory Graham's "raw, gravelly vocals are undoubtedly what draws in his listeners", on this very blues-influenced record. With "a stack of biblical imagery and the occasional use of an organ", it sounds very gospel at times. Some "hip hop elements" are also evident on Ego and As You Are. We gave the album four stars.

Sodastream  Little By Little (Independent)

Little By Little is "a typically robust affair considering the often-delicate, paper-thin nature of their songs", with a number of "quality guests" enlisted. "Disparate moods" are created, "brash bursts of horns punctuate" and there are plenty of "off-kilter rhythms". We gave the album four stars.
