This Triple J Like A Version Was One Of Australia's Highest Trending YouTube Vids Of 2016

YouTube have just released their stats for 2016 (we love stats — Spotify released some too!) and we're stoked to find that one of triple j's Like A Version videos have made the cut.

It's no surprise, really — the sassy, downright vicious cover of Justin Bieber's Love Yourself that Halsey did while she was in town was watched over 4.7 million times and was the eighth most trending YouTube video in Australia this year, according to time spent watching, sharing, commenting and liking videos.

James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment was a huge hit for Aussies on YouTube, too, with Adele topping the list, JLo coming in at #3, Sia at #4 and FLOTUS Michelle Obama coming in at #9 for the highest trending videos this year.

Homegrown talent didn't make the list for Australia's top ten music videos, however, with international heavyweights The Chainsmokers (featuring Halsey for Closer), Calvin Harris, Major Lazer and Ariana Grande shared and engaged with the most.
