The festival confirmed that their QLD leg is "100% going ahead."

THIS THAT festival is set to return to Newcastle on February 26th and Sandstone Point in QLD on the 5th of March.

Given current COVID restrictions all across the country, the festival organisers have released a statement solidifying the future of their Sandstone Point event and playing the patient game with their Newcastle event.

"We’re just jumping in to keep you updated following the recent event restrictions announcement from the NSW Government and what it means for THIS THAT Newcastle," said the festival owners.

"Firstly the good news is we can CONFIRM that THIS THAT in QLD [Sandstone Point] is 100% going ahead as planned and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday 5 March, we can’t wait to party in QLD.

"To our Newcastle ticket holders, we’re currently awaiting advice from NSW Health as to whether the current restrictions are applicable to outdoor festivals. If you could please hold tight for a week while we explore all options for the NSW event and will update you as soon as we know more. We would like to assure you that if THIS THAT is postponed or canceled we will offer all ticket holders a full refund.

"We appreciate your understanding and will have an update for you on Newcastle very soon. And to our Queensland fam, see you in a few weeks!"

The festival features the likes of Hayden James, Polish Club, What So Not, Budjerah, Kobie Dee, Dune Rats, Spacey Jane, Mallrat and more.
