This month’s Hottest 100 countdown is going to be close, so much so that we might see history repeating itself – remember when Muse beat Silverchair to #1 in 2007 by just four votes?
Your vote, now more than ever, holds some serious weight, with triple j revealing there’s only three votes separating the songs currently sitting at #100 and #101.
That’s the difference between an artist making the Hottest 100 or the Hottest 200, both of which are no small feat, but you’d probably prefer to kick off the countdown listening to one of your favourite acts.
You have until next Tuesday at 9am to get your Top 10 in before the Hottest 100 kicks off at 12pm AEDT on January 27.
Artists around the country have been trying to secure votes since last year, while "the internet's most accurate prediction" of the annual countdown, 100 Warm Tunas, has Ocean Alley, Childish Gambino and Ruby Fields primed for the top three.
