The Wombats frontman Matthew Murphy has confirmed a run of Australian headline shows with his solo project, Love Fame Tragedy.

The news comes after Murphy was locked down for Yours & Owls Festival last month and will see him perform gigs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in October.

Murphy has also revealed Love Fame Tragedy’s debut single, My Cheating Heart, and its accompanying music video, taken from the forthcoming I Don’t Want To Play The Victim, But I'm Really Good At It EP which drops in September and features cameos from members of Pixies, alt-J, Soundgarden and more.

After performing at Yours & Owls Festival, Love Fame Tragedy will stop by Oxford Art Factory, Howler, and The Zoo.
