The Whitlams To Celebrate 20 Years Of 'Love This City' Album With Australian Tour

Heading out next May!

More The Whitlams The Whitlams Profile

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their fourth album, Love This City, Aussie favourites The Whitlams will embark on a headline tour of Australia in 2019.

Kicking off next May, the four-piece will play shows in Newcastle, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Penrith, Sydney, Parramatta, Melbourne, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Perth.

"I have identified 12 songs and two bonus tracks that I still want to play from Love this City, and that will make up the core of the shows this May and June," frontman Tim Freedman said.

"The other half of the rambunctious long set will wander widely through the other five albums, stopping off for six minutes at Bob Dylan’s Tangled Up In Blue which it’s time to play again."

Joining The Whitlams on the road will be Bob Evans and Ella Hooper.

Tickets for all dates are on sale now; for more details, check out theGuide or scroll down.
