The Waterboys Announce Bluesfest Sideshows

Bluesfest-bound The Waterboys have announced more Australian shows, with three headline dates confirmed today.

The multi-genre fusing outfit, led by frontman and lead songwriter Mike Scott, will perform at the Astor Theatre, Perth, Melbourne's Recital Centre and the Sydney Opera House this March and April, just prior to their appearance at Bluesfest.

The news coincides with today's release of The Waterboys' new album Modern Blues, which The Music's Ross Clelland called "sweeping and utterly sincere".

My Live Nation and Ticket Agent members can access pre-sale tickets to these shows between midday and 11pm on Thursday, 29 Jan, while general sale tickets are available from 10am, Friday, 30 Jan. Head to theGuide and The Music App for more.
