Torb Pedersen has worked with some of the world's most famous voices, and now he wants to share his secrets with Brisbane

Fresh off a two-year stint as vocal coach to Gloria Estefan's Viva Broadway tour, world-renowned vocal coach Torb Pedersen is heading to Brisbane to work with Tall Poppy Productions and present his Destiny By Design workshop series.

Pedersen has coached famous voices, captains of industry, and political heavyweights in his three-decade career including: Michael Franti and Spearhead, Troy Cassar-Daley, Stevie Wonder, Barry Gibb, Britney Spears, and Bill & Hillary Clinton, among many others.

He has worked with a number of different entertainment giants, too, including Warner Bros, Sony (Latin), Interscope, Disney/Dreamworks and Atlantic Records.

His science-based techniques are steeped in neurology and physiology to ensure singers do not fall into damaging vocal habits, while also improving their vocals.

When not working with musicians, he helps politicians, the legal fraternity and business-people control their tone, cadence and inflections to ensure they are communicating effectively.

Torb Pedersen is opening his studio to run vocal workshops from 7 April. Though applications are open to all, places are limited and there is a selection process as well as a fee.

Applicants need to link a vocal demo on the application page with their personal information.

If you're interested, you need to hurry — applications close 10 March.
