Channel 7 has announced on social media that The Voice Australia will return to our screens after the 2024 Olympic Games and this year’s season of Dancing With The Stars come to an end.
This year’s season of The Voice Australia will premiere on Monday, 19 August, on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Channel 7’s social media post – accompanied by a photo of this year’s judges – reads, “A brand-new season of The Voice is here! Powerful voices, incredible stories, and superstar coaches. Watch it all unfold Monday August 19 on Channel 7 and 7plus #TheVoiceAU”.
In February, a new judging panel was announced for this year’s edition of The Voice Australia. The only returning judge is Guy Sebastian, while the remaining judges revealed are all new. Aussie icon Kate Miller-Heidke will join Guy, as will two powerhouse American singer-songwriters, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes. Host Sonia Kruger remains on board in 2024.
Last week, The Voice Australia shared a teaser starring 16-year-old surfer Beau, a singer with a voice beyond his years, as he took on what sounds like a Zach Bryan song. According to the teaser, Beau is set to ignite a fierce rivalry between the Australian and American judges.

Earlier this year, Kate Miller-Heidke said of joining The Voice Australia, “I am so excited to be joining The Voice and to sit on the panel alongside these incredible singers. The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life, and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers.”
LeAnn Rimes said, “I am incredibly honoured and excited to embrace the opportunity of coaching on The Voice. This special chance to mentor and discover new voices throughout Australia is a reflection of the love and support I’ve received from my Australian fans throughout my career. I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent.”
Adam Lambert added, “I am thrilled to be joining the panel of The Voice this season. I have such great memories in Australia and can’t wait to spend some time down under! Australia has contributed some iconic talents and artists to pop culture; it’ll be fun to coach the next generation of talent. You can expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and, of course, a win for Team Adam!”
Guy Sebastian described the addition of the new judges as “insane,” saying that this year’s season will be “killer”. He continued, “They’re all such amazing, world-class artists who I know will bring something fresh and incredible to the season. Let’s go!”
