More The Used More The Used

American rock band The Used are heading to Australia in August and September 2025, marking their return down under after a co-headline tour with Papa Roach last year.

Starting the run at The Tivoli in Brisbane, The Used will perform for three nights per city (13, 14, and 16 August in Brisbane) and play their first three albums in their entirety across those nights – one album per evening, plus some extra hits, in a celebration of their 25th anniversary.

The Used will then perform at Sydney’s Liberty Hall (17, 19, 20 August), Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre (22, 23, 25 August), Adelaide’s The Gov (26, 28, 29 August), and Perth’s Magnet House (31 August, 1 and 3 September).

During the tour, The Used will perform their 2002 self-titled debut album, 2004’s In Love And Death, and 2007’s Lies For The Liars.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets via The Used’s website on Wednesday, 11 December, from 9 am local time. The general sale begins on Friday, 13 December, at 9 am local time. You can find more information on The Used’s website and via Destroy All Lines.

Announcing the epic tour on Instagram today, The Used described the world tour as “What you’ve all been waiting for.” They also teased that they’re “just getting started.”

The Used dropped their landmark self-titled debut in 2002. A genuine game-changer of a record, the self-titled LP melded together rage, honesty and radio-accessible melody in a way that few acts of the era had managed.

Powered by singles The Taste Of Ink, Buried Myself Alive and Blue And Yellow, The Used spread like wildfire amongst the teenagers of North America and then the world, going platinum in the US (and gold in Australia) and launching a dizzying ascent to stardom, that very few saw coming.

With follow-up LP In Love And Death, The Used’s success had blown out of the water, delivering rock radio staples All That I’ve Got and I Caught Fire.

When their third record, Lies For The Liars, delivered their second consecutive Billboard Top 10 spot, peaking at number five, the band's fame had reached the point where they were chosen to soundtrack the Michael Bay Transformers movie and their status as one of the most important bands in the great emo explosion of the ‘00s was cemented.
