More Sabaton More Sabaton

Swedish power metal band Sabaton are pushing the boundaries once again, set to release a new concert film in cinemas in October.

With their love of playing into historical themes, the movie will be fittingly titled after their latest tour, The Tour To End All Tours, as a play on the First World War slogan.

Described as “a celebration of music, camaraderie, and the unbreakable bond between Sabaton and their fans,” the movie contains recorded footage of the band’s set at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam from May 2023 as part of their The Tour To End All Tours voyage across Europe.

Those who have seen Sabaton live, either at Australia’s Good Things 2022 or earlier gigs, are well aware of just what a Sabaton show entails. Known for their immersive experience, the five-piece band offers a blend of history and heavy metal, complete with pyrotechnics, military props, and plenty of luscious locks in full headbanging mode.

For those who were unable to make it to the Netherlands for the epic gig (or simply want to relive the event), The Tour To End All Tours will be available to view in theatres worldwide beginning on October 11th. Tickets will be available for purchase from August 27th at participating cinemas in Australia and New Zealand.
