Featuring King Parrot, Revocation, Whoretopsy, Black Rheno, and Psycroptic!

As Legion Music Fest has finally bitten the bullet and dropped off into the river, concrete shoes and all, there is now a distinct lack of heavy music festivals going in the local music scene, save for Unify 20117 in January. However, that festival doesn't really scratch the extreme metal itch that many may be looking for but pray and thee shall be rewarded; The Thrash, Blast, And Grind Festival is on its way!

This Australian and New Zealand February tour features a truly stacked lineup. Australia’s own King Parrot are leading the charge as the headliners, with Tasmania's Psycroptic, US heavyweights Revocation, Melbourne's Whoretopsy (here's hoping that they don't get fucking banned from playing this one), and Sydney’s excellent up and comers, Black Rheno are all in support.

Matt Youngy from King Parrot spoke about the tour in a recent press release sent out, saying that:

We’ve wanted to put on a great value tour with awesome local and international bands for some time now. Thrash, Blast and Grind Fest has given us this opportunity. With this full lineup announced we're  proud to stand behind a new fest that is diverse, good value for money and in the best venues in Australia and NZ. A true touring fest by the bands for the fans."

Likewise, bassist Brett Bamberger from Revocation also had this to say about the tour:

We are so excited to be returning to Australia, this time alongside King Parrot!  It's been too long since we had the opportunity to shred Down Under and  we are especially psyched to get back for the ‘Thrash, Blast and Grind’ Fest tour.  We look forward to bringing the new material over and  can't wait to hang with all of you! Cheers c*nts!

In addition to this mighty tour package, there will also be a local band in each city to open up the proceeding madness of riffs, screaming, blast beats and just general chaos. Tickets are available now from Direct Touring and you should go enjoy some classic Parrot below. (Note: Whoretopsy and Black Rheno are not appearing at the NZ shows).
