The Tambourine Girls Lay Down East Coast Tour Plans

Plus reveal a new music video

Sydneysidin' psych rockers The Tambourine Girls have outlined plans to take on the east coast this spring, coinciding with the forthcoming launch of their debut album.

The news comes paired with a new video from the quartet for single The Tambourine Girl, featuring the band lost in a hazy stupor in the woods.

Directed by James Kates, semi-professional bodyboarder and member of The Pinheads and Shining Bird, The Tambourine Girls' frontman Simon Relf says, "The location is a little clearing in The Royal National Park where we like to have these sunset parties.

"It's always felt magical to me - full of rabbitholes and rock and roll - but I never thought about making a film clip there until the day of the shoot."

The band will be heading to Brisbane on 1 September, followed by shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
