The Sugercanes Announce Tour In Support Of Debut Album

Soul and funk brigade The Sugarcanes are releasing their debut self-titled LP this Friday and in conjunction, have announced a series of shows along the east coast and Adelaide this June. 

The Melbourne outfit will launch the album at The Tote in Melbourne on 15 April before kicking off the album tour at Phoenix Bar in Canberra on 2 June. 

The band will then move on to perform at Brighton Up Bar in Sydney (3 June), Lass O'Gowry in Newcastle (4 June), Grace Emily in Adelaide (11 June), The Luwow in Melbourne (17 June), The Tanswell Hotel in Beechworth (18 June), The Bridge Hotel in Castlemaine (19 June) and finally Kyneton's Major Toms (25 June).

The quintet will also be joined on the road by a number of special guests including Loose Tooth, The King Hits, Lily & The Bellows, Jen Buxton & The Slaughterhouse Five, The Villenettes, Defuxe, Hot Wings, Lincoln Le Fevre and The Insiders.
