Albert Hammond JrIn support of his March-released LP, Francis Trouble, US artist Albert Hammond Jr has confirmed some headline shows while in Australia for Splendour In The Grass.
The Strokes guitarist has locked in gigs at Sydney's Factory Theatre and Corner Hotel in Melbourne in July.
Hammond Jr will be joined at both concerts by Sydney duo CLEWS.
"What the music says may be serious, but as a medium it should not be questioned, analysed or taken too seriously," Hammond Jr said of Francis Trouble.
"I think it should be tarted up, made into a character, a parody of itself. The music is the mask the message wears and I, the performer, am the message."
