The Stiffys Announce Dual Festival Spots Ahead Of Studio Stint

The ascendant Melburnian duo will perform at events in Sydney and Brisbane

Upwardly mobile Melburnian two-piece The Stiffys might still have a couple of dates on tour with hirsute local outfit The Beards, but they're already looking to the horizon with a new announcement arriving today to reveal that the band will be following up their current shows with a double festival showing from next month.

Along with their final two performances with The Beards in Townsville and Cairns tonight and tomorrow, The Stiffys will now be taking the stage at Sydney's God Save The Queen Festival, at The Lansdowne, on Sunday, 7 June, returning to active duty the following month, on Saturday, 25 July, to perform at Brisbane's Jubilee Hotel for the Dead Of Winter Festival.

The lads will likely continue winding down on public appearances as they turn their attention towards hunkering down in the studio to record their forthcoming album, due for release later this year, so we'd advise trying to see them sooner rather than later, especially since they're still riding hot off the warm reception afforded to recent single Kissy Kissy.

Watch the clip below, and head to theGuide or see The Music App to suss booking details for The Stiffys' forthcoming performances before they squirrel away to focus on their studio commitments.
