The Melbourne punks keep churning out great tunes.
They're already set to head out on the road with American groups Cheap Girls and Joyce Manor, as well as headline the annual Poison City Weekender festival in their home city of Melbourne, and now The Smith Street Band have announced they'll be dropping a new 10” vinyl EP in Don't Fuck With Our Dreams this August.
The EP is inspired largely by the massive tour they undertook with Statesiders Bomb The Music Industry and fellow Melburnians The Bennies, a very eventful tour to say the least, and is a much anticipated release given the success of their second LP Sunshine and Technology released last year.
The band are putting the record up for pre-order from Tuesday 18 June (through Poison City) and 50 random lucky punters who get their orders in before he release will win a ticket to a special, secret EP launch party where the band and a bunch of their buddies will play live.
Dates for the aforementioned tour are below; the record is released through Poison City on Friday 9 August.
