The Smith Street BandMelbourne outfit The Smith Street Band will head to the quiet town of Forrest, south-west of Melbourne, this March to headline mini-festival Weekend At The Wonk alongside some other big acts including US songwriter Jeff Rosenstock and Adelaide duo, The Hard Aches.
The event will take place at small-capacity country pub 'The Wonkey Forrest on Saturday, 5 March.
The town holds special memories for The Smith Street Band who recorded an album with Rosenstock (a frequent collaborator of the band) there nearly two years.
