The Screen Music Awards Returns To Melbourne This November

Featuring actor Rob Carlton as host and master of ceremonies

Held by APRA AMCOS and Australian Guild Of Screen Composers, the annual Screen Music Awards will be returning this year to Melbourne in 2015, hosted by Logie Award-winning actor and writer, Rob Carlton

The Awards celebrates the achievements of those in film and TV music composition, in an array of categories such as compositions for documentaries, advertising, feature films and children's television.

CEO of APRA AMCOS, Brett Cottle, said, "We’re delighted to be back in Melbourne for this prestigious event and hosting these Awards at the highly acclaimed Recital Centre.  The Screen Music Awards have a long and rich history of acknowledging outstanding screen composition in this country. Joining Carlton will be Emmy-winning composer Ashley Irwin serving as Music Director for his third year, having worked with Clint Eastwood on Jersey Boys in the past.

The 2015 Screen Music Awards will be held at Melbourne Recital Centre on Thursday, 12 November, with nominees announced next month.
