The Screaming JetsMark McLeod, the drummer for iconic Australian rock outfit The Screaming Jets, has appeared in a Melbourne court after handing himself into police over seven arrest warrants.
McLeod failed to appear in court last November after reportedly being caught in possession of methamphetamines and driving without a license.
As 9 News reports, the musician turned himself into police on Saturday night and appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Sunday, being convicted and fined $2300.
"It’s about time you started acting like an adult… you've been acting like a nine-year-old, not a 42-year-old,” the magistrate told him.
McLeod is scheduled to tour with The Screaming Jets throughout August and September as part of the band’s Gotcha Covered album tour.
The drummer joined the group in 2012.
