Australian (now Canadian based) metal outfit The Schoenberg Automaton have detailed their anticipated new studio album.

Having spent the last few years preparing a follow-up to 2013’s ‘Vela', which included a Pozible campaign, the band has now announced an official release date for 'Apus'.

The new 13-track offering will see release this June through Entertainment One Music and LifeBlood inc., a partnership Killyourstereo.com reported on last February.

To accompany the announcement, The Schoenberg Automaton have also unveiled their new song, 'The Fragile Ones' (listen below).

"Thematically, 'The Fragile Ones' is the driving force behind the avenues explored on our upcoming release. This song is about exploitation of power and the ongoing struggle between individual free will and societal enslavement for the benefits of the ones on top. A new generation of evil has taken hold," guitarist Shayne Johnson states.

'Apus' is due out June 3.
