Commenting on the video for the single, drummer/vocalist Rupe said: "The thing I love about the video is that, to me - it almost matches the cover of the album!" It has a very post-apocalyptic look to it and is set in an "after the war" type scenario, where a man (in a radiation-protective suit) rummages through the remains of a building and comes across an old television, which is playing an energetic performance of a band (The Rabble). I think to a certain extent, the video almost dismisses the immediate point of the song and rather concentrates on the imagery behind the album's theme."

On 'The Battle's Almost Over', The Rabble present a clear message: "The theme for the record is generally that freedom's battle is almost over, but the war is just beginning," declares Rupe. "We have a soulful message that doesn't only concentrate on hatred. I think the world needs that. We wanted to make an album that makes people take notice of their surroundings and help The Rabble put punk rock back on the map!"

Formed by brothers Rupe and vocalist/guitarist Chazz in the summer of 2001, The Rabble have built a growing fan base on the back of three records; relentlessly touring across the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia with bands such as Agnostic Front, The Unseen, and The Living End - as well as appearing at major music festivals including the 'Big Day Out' and the 'Taste Of Chaos'. The video for 'The Battle' will premiere online on Monday September 14, with the single slated for release on iTunes on Friday October 16.
