Emo pioneers The Promise Ring have hinted at the possibility of a reunion with the creation of an official Twitter account and a provocative tweet. The group disbanded in 2002 before reuniting briefly for a one-off show in 2005.
The tweet from the band says:
"Hello, again..."
Addtionally, the band's drummer Dan Didier has lent more weight to the rumours of a reunion with his own tweet:
"My former band (@ThePromiseRing) is now on twitter. Please follow for some exciting news coming up..."
