Melbourne folk group The Paper Kites have just released the elegant film clip to their latest single Renegade off their debut LP twelvefour and to celebrate, the band have announced their Midnight tour starting 23 June at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.

The popular quintet will deliver a conceptual audio-visual performance officially embellishing the narrative that twelvefour started, which will see them move on from Sydney to perform at Melbourne's Athenaeum Theatre (24 June), The Tivoli in Brisbane (25 June), The Astor Theatre in Perth (1 July) and Norwood Town Hall in Adelaide (2 July).

The video for Renegade, directed by the one and only Dan Huiting (Bon Iver), comes as the final edition of the Midnight trilogy where videos for the tracks Electric Indigo, Revelator Eyes and Renegade merge to illustrate stories that transpire between the hours of 12am and 4am; a theme central to their debut LP

Commenting on the upcoming tour and video, The Paper Kites' Sam Bentley said, "We perform the music and behind us are a group of apartment windows.

"Through the windows, a series of stories play out in the lives of different people…we provide the soundtrack to a single night, the audience watching through the dim lit windows and seeing these stories progress, eventually fading to darkness."
