Melbourne thrashers The Omen are currently recording a new 7 inch entitled "Room 5".The EP is the first to feature new vocalist Craig (Seduction/In Name and Blood) and new guitairist Reece (Stand Defiant).The EP is entitled "Room 5" after the room where the band are recording the EP themselves at Three Phase Rehearsal Studios in Melbourne.

The EP is entitled "Room 5" after the room where the band are recording the EP themselves at Three Phase Rehearsal Studios in Melbourne.

The band is taking a hands on approach to all aspects of this release: Recording, mixing, releasing and printing the art themselves.

The tracking of the record is being done live to capture the energy of the songs and to keep it as raw as possible.

Room 5 will be out in August/September via The Omen.
