The Oklahoma Kid has roped another prize cow in this new track, out now on Arising Empire - sus it out - it's called A Velvet Feel and it's from their forthcoming record Tangerine Tragic.
I mean, if you are out here looking for the quintessential modern metal experience, look no further than THE OKLAHOMA KID. Known for their very own blend of genres, the avant-garde 5-piece never falls shy of pushing the boundaries and breaking old conventions. We are here for that here at KYS.
They've dropped a tonne of singles in the past bunch of months including 'Pale Tongue', 'Melt Into You' & 'Come Undone'. This one hits with real nostalgic vibes and soulful cleans - and it's taken from their upcoming sophomore album »Tangerine Tragic«, due for release on June 3rd on Arising Empire.
Tangerine Tragic was recorded and produced by Jan Kerscher (Ghost City Recordings) & mixed and mastered by Aussie LEGEND Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Dealer).
Andreas Reinhard (guitar for the band) says that "We are always trying to get different influences into our music, that’s why we were looking for aproducer outside our genre, to get some new input. When we first met up with Jan, we know he was aperfect match to record and produce our next album."
