Killyourstereo.com discussed the vinyl release with guitarist Jay Marriott this week.

“We've always wanted to release our songs on vinyl, it's just that we're an entirely independent band and have to be smart with our finances. But, with a new sound, comes a new way of looking at things and putting out 7" singles feels really good,” Marriott said.

The support of independent music retailers is a key partnership, with the musician touching on this working relationship.

“For an unsigned and independent band like us, the support of these stores is vital. Especially if you want to reach people who are more inclined to give a shit about bands that work hard to get their music heard. It works both ways though, bands need to tell their fans to buy music from independent record stores before they're all gone.”

The sound is described as “dirtier” and “fast”.

“They're [the songs] pretty fast & fairly short. Corey screams a bit more these days & the tones are dirtier. They're only 2 minutes long, best just to give it a listen & suss it for themselves,” Marriott said.
