The Dutch know their house/techno so this will be a treat

The Netherlands has always been on the forefront of the best underground house and techno music and for the first time, Dekmantel Festival, which celebrates just that every year, has announced they'll be headed to Melbourne next year for its first foray into Australia.

In a partnership with Novel, the Dutch brand will head to Caulfield Racecourse on Saturday, 20 February, with a solid line-up of international house and techno artists in tow.

Berlin-based production duo Tale Of Us are heading up the bill, bringing their explosion of pop/nu-disco/rock-based electronic music.

Joining them will be Detroit's Omar S, New Yorker Mike Servito for his debut Australian performance, Amsterdam-native San Proper, Berlin-based American Anthony Naples, Ukrainian DJ Vakula and Dutch collective Dekmantel Soundsystem, who preside over Amsterdam's Dekmantel Festival, their coinciding label and their own DJ crew.
