Two of the band's members are coming together for one show

Melbourne post-punk/synth-pop outfit The Mavis's split all the way back in 2001, a couple of years after topping the charts with their biggest hit Cry, but this February will see the band's vocalists, brother and sister duo Matt and Beki Thomas, back together for one intimate show and a brand new EP.

The show is set to take place at Melbourne venue Yah Yah's on Saturday 16 February with support from The Dead Salesmen, though no further details of the EP are available at this time.

Since the band split, Matt Thomas' main musical outlet has been as front man for The Blow Waves, who formed in 2006 and continue performing to this day. Beki Thomas teamed up with a couple of members of Mandy Kane to form Beki & The Bullets and now performs under the name of Beki Colada.
