The Kooks have announced a four-date headline tour of Australian theatres, coinciding with their festival run at Groovin The Moo.

Following the first three dates of the festival – slated for Thursday April 25 in Wayville, Thursday April 25 in Canberra and Saturday April 27 in Bendigo – The Kooks will begin their headline run in Melbourne, playing the Palais Theatre on Tuesday April 30. They’ll head to Brisbane next, playing the Fortitude Music Hall on Friday May 3, before hitting the GTM circuit once more for the Newcastle and Sunshine Coast dates (on Saturday May 4 and Sunday 5, respectively).

From there, the English pop-rock legends will headline Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday May 7, and Perth’s Metropolis on Sunday May 12 – the latter show happening the day after GTM in Bunbury (May 12).

Tickets to all four of the headline shows go on sale at 12pm AEDT this Thursday (February 15), following an early-bird presale that starts at the same time a day earlier (February 14) – head here to sign up for the presale, or bookmark this link for the general sale.

The tour marks The Kooks’ first Australian visit since October of 2022, when they celebrated the 15th anniversary of their classic Inside In / Inside Out album. This run will serve more in support of their sixth album, 10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark, which arrived in July 2022.
