“I love a good chicken burger and am a huge Macca’s fan."
The Kid LAROI (McDonald's)
Aussie sensation the Kid LAROI has teamed up with McDonald’s as the face of the fast food giant’s latest menu option — the McCrispy and McCrispy Deluxe.
In celebration of their delectable new release, McDonald’s partnered with the award-winning rapper, singer, and songwriter as the face of the McCrispy campaign, which kicks off today (Sept. 27).
The chicken burger is apparently “a premium fried chicken burger that’s crispy, juicy, and tender to perfection” and it’s available from your local Maccas now as a permanent fixture on the menu.
According to Maccas, the new burger “features 100% Aussie RSPCA Approved chicken breast with a crispy coating, topped with fresh shredded iceberg and cos lettuce and a new McCrispy signature sauce, served in a soft glazed bun.”
Spruiking the new chicky burger, LAROI said: “Crispy, juicy and down-right delicious, the McCrispy has my seal of approval and it’s now part of my go-to Macca’s order.”
“I love a good chicken burger and am a huge Macca’s fan, so when I found out McDonald’s was launching its best chicken burger yet, I had to get involved.”

He added, “I can’t wait for Macca’s fans and chicken lovers to try this new game-changing burger and, of course, see the ad!”
It’s not the first time the STAY singer has linked up with Maccas — he previously had a paid partnership with the company during which they released a limited The Kid Laroi Meal that included nuggets, a frozen Coke, fries and a burger in celebration of his tour at the time.
If this is already making you hungry, the McCrispy and McCrispy Deluxe are now permanently available in Australia across Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s App and McDelivery.
In other Kid LAROI news, he recently took to Instagram to open up to fans as to why he’s been “a bit silent” of late.
“I’m sorry I’ve been a bit silent. Been going through a lot recently. I’m good but I’ve just needed space to focus on processing my feelings & work,” LAROI said in the post from August.
“Here to let you know that a lot of videos have been shot these past couple weeks, I shot the album cover & I’m working with the label to get you a date. I also added more songs to the record. It’s done though. I love you. Thanks for staying with me.”
