The Brissy-bred indie faves are prepping for the release of their second album later this year
Queensland indie outfit The Jungle Giants are starting to help their loyal fans prepare for the imminent release of their second studio full-length this year with eagerly awaited new single Every Kind Of Way.
The characteristically ebullient track marks the first taste of what's to come from the reliable four-piece, who released their debut album, Learn To Exist, back in 2013 and have spent the time since further cementing themselves as massively popular mainstays on the Aussie touring scene and beyond.
Every Kind Of Way ushers in a more mature era for the band, their previously held notions and concerns about what should or shouldn't go on a record falling by the wayside as the quartet comes into their own. It's not a complete journey outside the comfort zone — The Jungle Giants once again conscripted the talents of venerated producer Magoo to bring the track to life — but it's a tangible, forward departure from the clean guitar-pop of 2011's Mr Polite, and that can only be a good thing.
"Going into the recording of our first album, we were a little intimidated and didn't feel relaxed," frontman Sam Hales said in a statement. "This time around, we're much more comfortable with recording and went in thinking we'd just try everything we wanted to try.

"It was a little chaotic and messy, but we felt like we could do whatever we wanted and no one could tell us otherwise."
Every Kind Of Way is officially released on Friday, 10 April, with pre-orders being made available from tomorrow, 1 April. The band's second LP is due for release in August.
