New York quintet The Julie Ruin, fronted by former Bikini Kill frontwoman Kathleen Hanna, have announced a pair of headline Australian shows this January.
The band will play Melbourne and Sydney sideshows while in the country for Hobart's Mona Foma festival. Formed in 2010, the group also features Bikini Kill bandmate Kathi Wilcox and cabaret artist Kenny Mellman. They released debut album 'Run Fast' last month through Dischord.
