Touring this October.

More The Jezabels More The Jezabels

After postponing a national tour in support of their latest LP Synthia earlier this year, Sydney outfit The Jezabels have today announced rescheduled dates that will see them perform headline shows throughout October.

The quartet were forced to call off the early-2016 tour in order for keyboardist Heather Shannon to continue treatment for ovarian cancer. However, The Jezabels are stoked to announce Shannon's health is back in check and they will be raring to go come October.

"We are so thrilled to be announcing this new tour after the heartbreak of cancelling our tour earlier this year," the band said in a prepared statement.

"Heather is feeling strong again after her treatment and we are all impassioned and eager to finally give Synthia the tour she deserves.

"We were so touched by the outpouring of support toward us over the course of this year, we cannot think of any better way to show our gratitude than bringing Synthia out on the road.

"We cannot wait to introduce her to you all, to see your beautiful faces and to celebrate the end of this unique and challenging year."

The Jezabels kick off the tour at Perth's Rottofest in September, followed by shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Newcastle and will be joined on all stops (minus WA) by Melbourne artist, Ali Barter.

General public tickets go on sale from midday on Wednesday 20 July.
