The Hunting Birds Added To Falls Downtown

Fremantle folk/rock-pop outfit The Hunting Birds have scored a slot on the debut run of Falls Downtown next year following the festival’s Foster A Band initiative.

The local favourites were up against a handful of other contestants and scored the most votes to join Childish Gambino, London Grammar, The Avalanches, Violent Soho and more at the Freo event which runs Jan 7 – 8.

“It’s always great to see the best up-and-coming WA acts getting involved each year,” said Falls Festival co-producer Paul Pitticco.

“The quality of artists competing and playing at the festival is amazing. Showcasing the best the state has to offer to a national audience of music lovers.”
