The Hi-Fi has announced via it's website that it plans to open a Sydney version of the iconic venue, following its longstanding tenure in Melbourne since 1997 and its successful expansion to Brisbane. Very few details concerning the new venue have been released at this point, with their website stating simply:
"Australia's live music venue leader is coming to Sydney."
Rumours have spread that a proper announcement is expected to be released at 2 pm tomorrow. In the meantime, punters are encouraged to sign up to the Hi-Fi's mailing list to receive information about the venue as soon as it is released.
