Here's the top ten!

The people have spoken - the best heavy song of 2018 is Architects' Hereafter.

For the second year running, the UK outfit have taken out top spot on The Faction's Hardest 100 countdown and posted four more tracks in the top 20 alone. 

Overall, Architects placed in this year's Hardest 100 eight times.


Melbourne's own Alpha Wolf came in at #2 with Black Mamba, while other top ten placings included Bring Me The Horizon's MANTRA at #4, Parkway Drive at #6 and #9 with Wishing Wells and Prey and Hellions' Smile at #10.

Other Aussie bands featured in the top 100 included The Amity Affliction, Northlane, Trophy Eyes, Thy Art Is Murder and Hands Like Houses
