It was a long year off.
After taking a year off following the celebration of its tenth anniversary in 2014, Hunter Valley's own Gum Ball Music & Arts Festival has been confirmed to return in 2016.
Taking place in the beloved bushland home of 'Dashville', the event will run next year from 22-24 April.
Commenting on its return, organiser Matt Johnston said, "In 2014 it was pretty overwhelming after all the work we had put in, to see how well the festival had grown over its 10 years, not in size but in quality."
"A lot of people were bummed that we had a year off, but after some great rest and recovery we are excited to be bringing it back, better than ever."

Gum Ball 2016 will run in similar fashion to previous years which includes live music on stages over the entire event, the popular silent disco and Sunday breakfast wind-down.
Early bird tickets for the festival will be released early next month, with a music line-up set drop in December.
