The Grass Is Greener returns to Cairns in October with Crooked Colours, Winston Surfshirt, Jesswar and more!

The Grass Is Greener festival is heading back to Cairns this year!

The beloved Queensland event is championing local music in 2021, with an all-Aussie line-up set to grace the stage on October 23 at Cairns Showgrounds.

Grass Is Greener 2021 sees the return of the festival after its cancellation last year due to national lockdowns. 

It was also the first year TGIT did not go ahead since its premiere in 2016.

Speaking on the festival’s return, founder and director Oli Frost stated, "it means so much to us to be able to put this on once again this year. Last year we were scared it may never happen again and I am so keen to have one hell of a backyard bash."

Tickets for the event will go on sale from 9am this Wednesday, June 2.
