The incendiary duo are relocating to the States in March

Upwardly mobile Aussie punk twosome The Gooch Palms have announced a run of shows Down Under in 2015 to mark their triumphant return to the homeland following a successful tour of the United States — but it'll be their only national jaunt for the year, with the band planning to relocate Stateside come March.

The news of the band's move can't come as too much a surprise, painful though it may be for the local faithful — but given they've spent the past several months building up a ravenous following in the US and coming away from the tour with a raft of accomplishments to their name, including a release deal with Detroit's Urinal Cakes Records, signing up with renowned agency Panache Booking and netting a slot at the famed SXSW showcase, it seems moving onto greener pastures was only a matter of time for the act.

So, given the "indefinite" nature of the relocation, The Gooch Palms are giving Aussie fans a fairly comprehensive chance to say goodbye — or, at least, see you later — kicking off their National Tour Of 2015 (proudly presented by The Music) at The Metro, in Adelaide, on Saturday, January 24, before heading on to grace stages in Hobart, Melbourne, Canberra, Wollongong, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Sydney, where they wrap up the jaunt at the Newtown Social Club on Saturday, February 21.

Before then, though, The Gooch Palms still have another gift up their sleeves — they're unveiling new cut Trackside Daze in the lead-up to the tour, with digital and physical releases (as a 7-inch double A-side) via Urinal Cake Records due in the new year. Check it out through the stream below.
