Having just wrapped up a tour with Brisbane favourites Violent Soho, LA-based duo The Gooch Palms have today announced they'll be heading around Australia yet again this August in support of their forthcoming sophomore album, Introverted Extroverts.

Kicking off the tour in Sydney, The Gooch Palms will move on to perform in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne, before wrapping it all up in their hometown of Newcastle.

Set for release on 15 June online and 17 June in stores. Introverted Extroverts was recorded with renowned producer Bill Skibbe (who has worked with the likes of The Kills, Protomartyr and more) in his MIchigan studio.

"Most of the subject matter either deals with how we are fun loving party animals or completely isolated freaks who hate the outside world," drummer and vocalist Kat Friend said of the new album.
