Californian metalcore outfit The Ghost Inside will return to Australia – their home away from home – this October.
Frequent visitors to their fans Down Under, the band last played in Australia while supporting Parkway Drive on their arena 20-year anniversary tour last year. That tour came after performing at UNIFY 2020 and a 2014 Australian tour.
Joined by Glaswegian metal pioneers Bleed From Within, the tour begins at Metropolis Fremantle on Sunday, 19 October, before heading to Adelaide’s The Gov on Tuesday, 21 October, Melbourne’s Forum on Thursday, 23 October, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 24 October, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 26 October.
The Early Bird pre-sale opens on Wednesday, 21 May, at 9 am local time – you can register here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Friday, 23 May, at 9 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.
The Ghost Inside returned last year with their sixth album, Searching For Solace. The album followed a near-decade of trauma and turbulence for the band—in 2015, they experienced a harrowing bus crash and took some time away from touring. Their self-titled album was released in 2020, with their sixth album arriving last year. It highlights how they channelled adversity to stay positive and keep moving forward.
Meanwhile, since releasing their seventh album, Zenith, last month, Bleed From Within has been named “one of the UK’s most vital and consistent metal bands” by Metal Hammer. With their searing, groovy riffs, addition of bagpipes and massive songs, it’s easy to see why they’ve received the praise.
